New technology – Hydro X and Injectidry

Now your flooded carpeting and pad can be dried without uninstalling the carpet, removing and disposing of the pad, floating the carpet and finally reinstalling the carpet with new pad.
Clean floodwater, “Category 1” water, can now be extracted sufficiently from both the carpet and the pad without uninstalling the carpet. No longer will the pad need to be disposed of or the carpet need to be floated to dry and reinstalled later with new pad. Carpet that is uninstalled for drying purposes and then reinstalled is always subject to great risk of damage or deterioration. Stretching, delaminiation, edge damage, seam cutting, etc. are all unnecessary with our new extraction equipment.
Floating carpet to accelerate drying always required emptying the affected areas completely, disrupting the home and inconveniencing the homeowner. Now the flooded areas can be dried without floating the carpet and without the need to move all of the areas furniture. After our thorough extraction of the flood water we then set up the necessary number of air-movers and dehumidifiers to quickly dry the carpeting and pad.

New Injectidry System dries walls, ceilings, floors, and cabinets
that formerly required costly demolition and reconstruction.
We also offer the Injectidry System for drying walls, ceilings, floors, and cabinets that formerly required demolition and reconstruction at an enormous expense. The Injectidry System is a relatively new technology that we acquired immediately upon its availability to the industry in 1996. With modern testing equipment the Injectidry system can selectively dry walls, ceilings, floors and cabinets, quickly and without the once necessary demolition and reconstruction. Flooded homes are now truly saved and restored.
EMERGENCY FLOOD SERVICE PROCEDURE
You should:
· Confirm that current source of floodwater has already been identified and contained / eliminated.
· Confirm that flooded area is safe of electrical danger and that electrical power is still available.
· Personal items should be immediately removed from or raised up/out of flood affected areas.
We will:
· Test to determine full extent of flooded carpeted areas, measure square footage, itemize and record.
· Give full explanation of our drying services offered, different options available and the different costs.
· Explain “Like, Kind, and Quality” rule, “Line of Sight” rule and limitations of property insurance.
· Photograph all flooded areas on arrival before beginning work and again after setting up drying systems.
· Hydro Extract carpets with pad, regular extract glued down carpets and set up air-movers & dehumidifiers.
· Use furniture sliders to move large pieces and block up all items that remain on wet carpeted areas.
· Test to determine all areas of trapped moisture in adjoining walls, ceilings, sub-floors, cabinets & duct work.
· If necessary: Set up injectidry with agent/owner’s full understanding and approval of conditions, prices & options.
· Test and perforate lightly and undetectably all flood affected but undamaged drywall areas to aid drying.
· Recommend leaving all equipment running 24 hours and maintaining highest possible heat setting.
· Acquire key and/or make arrangements for 24 hour access to flood site for monitoring progress & equipment.
Category 1 Water - That which is clean at the releasing source and does not pose a hazard if consumed by humans. Category 1 water may become progressively contaminated as it mixes with soils on or within floor coverings or building assemblies (walls, decking, subflooring). Time and temperature, which promote the growth and amplification of microorganisms in water can cause Category 1 water to degrade. Examples: burst water pipes, failed supply lines on appliances, vertically falling rainwater.
Category 2 Water - That which begins with some degree of contamination and could cause sickness or discomfort if consumed by humans. As with Category 1 water, time and temperature can cause Category 2 water to become progressively more contaminated.
Category 3 Water - That which is highly contaminated and could cause death or serious illness if consumed by humans. Examples: sewage, rising flood water from rivers and streams, ground surface water flowing horizontally into homes.
Note: each category of water can become the next if adequate removal and drying procedures are not followed.
